Summer 2006 - Courage

This quarter's topic may have been one of the easiest we have ever settled on.  While the popular associations for the word courage may evoke visions of physical prowess and action under extreme duress, the broader meanings for courage provide for one of the richest issues of The LEADERBOARD we have ever published.  Here is a hint: the word courage comes from the root for heart.

In this issue, we examine courage in mental, inspirational and emotional domains as well as physical.  Our coaching case describes a merger that completed owing only to an executive's courage in the face of embarrassment and rejection.  I have also included a link to a wonderful article from Chief Learning Officer Magazine on courage in the workplace.  And, we look at The 8th Habit from bestselling author Steven Covey.

As always, your comments, ideas and responses are welcomed at info@entelechypartners.com.
